  • Digital Baseband Upstream Channel Noise Power Ratio Measurement (NPR)

Implements a noise power ratio (NPR) test for measuring the performance of a digital upstream channel. A sweep plots NPR versus input noise loading.

  • Impact of Nonlinear Distortions in Radio over Fiber Systems

Demo shows how radio over fiber systems can be affected by intermodulation distortions resulting from the nonlinear nature of the optical link. In this example, a laser is directly modulated by 5 OFDM-QAM radio channels. The Error-Vector-Magnitude of the central radio channel is displayed against the ratio '3rd order spur'/carrier. The carrier, '3 rd order spur'(3rd IMD) and 'spurious free dynamic range' (SFDR) are also measured.
