VPIplayerTM
VPIplayer is a fully featured photonic simulation engine that runs a ready-made dynamicDataSheet™ (DDS) for free, on anyone's Windows PC. So R&D experts can easily exchange ideas with people who don't have access to professional design software.
A DDS captures product parameters, performs a live simulation and generates the results on scopes, spectrum analyzers, histograms, Poincaré spheres and XY graphs. Company logos, contact details and supporting information can also be included. Interactive settings allow end users to adjust parameters using pre-defined sliders.
To create a DDS, the developer simply saves schematics built in VPItransmissionMaker or VPIcomponentMaker, in VPIplayer format. A library of over 35 dynamicDataSheets is installed together with VPIplayer version 8.0.
