Laser Parameter Extractor

1. Automatically extracts parameters for our dynamic Rate Equation single-mode laser model
2. Determines sixteen parameters from measurements of the IM response, LI-characteristics and a large-signal chirp and power waveforms
3. Extractor is able to consider a number of fixed parameters, or adjust parameters within defined ranges
4. As an alternative to using a model of the laser, direct measurements of the power and chirp characteristics can be imported into VPI simulations
5. Parameter sets are also compatible with the more detailed multisection laser models in VPIcomponentMaker™ Active Photonics
