VPIphotonics and Acreo announce renewed partnership in photonics numerical modelling
and component characterization
Acreo will provide key competence in the field of photonics to support the further development of the simulation software VPItransmissionMaker, and to extend the VPI Photonics Curriculum. VPIphotonics and Acreo's partnership started in 2004 and has resulted in the modelling of optical components based on both analytical models and laboratory measurements. VPIphotonics and Acreo also collaborate on research activities related to high-speed transmission systems and are both partners in the Celtic initiative 100 GET.
